Stochastic Programming of Sustainable Waste Cooking Oil for Biodiesel Supply Chain under Uncertainty

As an important emission reduction source for the transportation industry, biofuel has received strong support from Chinese government. However, development of industry is still struggling. The high degree uncertainty makes face huge challenges. Kitchen waste, as a biodiesel raw material with large yield, good prospects. Reuse kitchen waste can solve public health and safety problems. This paper proposes two-stage stochastic programming model under supply disturbance to optimize chain perspective contract. Then current three main flow directions are analysed reasonable price operators purchase determined. By signing contracts operators, restaurant guaranteed encouraged provide certain percentage meet demand production. Using actual case in Yangtze River Delta region, performance was compared. Through sensitivity analysis different parameters, this determines influence its network design expected total system cost. optimization cooking oil (WCO) chain, effectively improve efficiency reduce costs, increase profits promote sustainable industry.
